Fansipan stands at an impressive 3,134m in height. Fansipan is not only the highest mountain in Vietnam but also in the Indochina region, earning itself the nickname "The Rooftop of Indochina". The local name for Fansipan is "Hua Xi Pan". It means "giant unstable rock". This peak is a part of the Hoang Lien Son Range in the Northwest of Vietnam.
